Civec™ Drive
Civec™ Drive bulk emulsion explosive is a primer sensitive pumped explosive which has the appearance of an opaque fluid, similar in viscosity to light grease or heavy oil. Civec™ Drive has excellent water resistance as an inherent characteristic of an emulsion explosive.
Civec™ Drive is designed for use in civil tunneling and underground construction applications. Civec™ Drive is manufactured at the point of use from an Orica designed underground charging unit. This combines non-explosive emulsion with sensitiser to charge the water resistant explosive product into the blasthole.
