Orica UK Ltd - Irish Branch is part of the global Orica Mining Services business. We are suppliers of industrial explosives and related products to the civil engineering and extractive industries in Ireland.
Orica offers explosive products and services via an extensive distribution network which extends throughout Europe.
Using Orica's global experience, our sales, technical, and specialist personnel are eager to apply their skills and expertise to explore new customer solutions that will create value for our customers.
Blast and Quarry Surveys, an indigenous Northern Ireland company, was acquired by Orica UK in September 2007.
We provide a wide range of services to the minerals and construction industries including rock drilling, quarry face profiling, blast supervision and design, vibration monitoring and the supply of ammonium nitrate. We operates a fleet of modern self contained Atlas-Copco drill rigs that combine optimum comfort and safety for the operator with high economical penetration rates.
We also employ a dedicated team of surveyors to carry out topographic, hydrographic, stockpile, setting out and measured building surveys. These services are primarily of interest to consulting engineers, architects, developers, builders, quantity surveyors, district councils and public authorities.
