Exel U & Connectadet E
Exel non-electric initiation system has been developed to give the greatest possible simplicity in both usage and storage. The system is based on a combination of Exel U in-hole detonators and Exel Connectadet E surface connector units.
To meet the varying demands on delay times for different kinds of blasts, there are 6 different uniform delays for in-hole detonators and 9 different delays for the surface connector units.
Exel U + Exel Connectadet E system is suitable for all kinds of blasting operations where millisecond delays are required. Since the initiation sequence is determined on the surface, the system can be used to initiate very large rounds. This Exel system is ideal for initiating large rounds in quarries with controlled delays and controlled round vibration.
