i-kon™ Detonator
i-kon™ Detonators are fully programmable and have on board digital timing circuits, energy storage enabling them to function independently once the fire signal has been sent and a Pentolite base charge housed inside a copper/zinc alloy shell to provide appropriate dynamic shock resistance.
The legwire are copper-clad steel for tensile strength with a tough polypropylene insulation providing excellent resistance to the abrasive conditions of most mines and quarries. At the surface end of the i-kon™ Detonator is a displacement connector which connects quickly and easily to the harness wire. The i-kon™ Detonator fits into all conventional boosters. For particularly harsh conditions the i-kon™ Detonator RX is recommended.
