Osx™ 8 Z
The Osxä 8 Z series provides the geophysical industry with a high performance explosive coupled with Orica’s patented degradation technology. The degradation system is based on synthetic chemical technology that doesn’t contain microorganisms. The technology works by selectively breaking down the molecular explosives contained in the product. If a charge is abandoned in application the system will render increased insensitivity to detonation.
The plastic shells provide a means of connecting the charges together via their threaded ends. For initiation two plastic lined detonator tunnels are provided to accommodate OseisÔ Electronic detonators or conventional Electric Seismic Ô detonators.
