Safety Integrity Rating
In a first for Orica, WebGen™ 100 has received the Safety Integrity Level 3 (SIL3) certification.
A SIL 3 component running continuously is classified as having a safety critical failure of less than 1 in a 100 billion devices, which is the highest level a commercial blasting product can practically achieve. It ensures the WebGen™ system is always in a safe state before the correct firing command sequence is transmitted.
Every shipment is 100% tested to ensure components will function as designed. Over 240,000 test were performed in TÜV Rheinland’s evaluation of our Safety Integrity Rating.
