Civec™ Control
Civec™ Control is a primer sensitive bulk emulsion explosive which has the appearance of an opaque fluid. It is similar in viscosity to heavy grease. Civec™ Control has excellent water resistance as an inherent characteristic of the emulsion structure.
Civec™ Control is manufactured at the blast site from an Orica designed underground delivery system, which combines the non-explosive matrix with the sensitiser to deliver the explosive product into the blasthole. The charge mass per metre of blast hole can be varied to suit ground conditions or blast design. It is not suitable for ground containing reactive sulphide.
