Pentex™ D
Launched in 2010 for use in underground operations, Pentex™ D boosters compliment the Orica Mining Services bulk emulsions range and are made of a high explosive composition cast into a plastic shell.
One longitudinal tunnel in the booster accommodates a detonator and a side clip on the shell secures signal tube. Pentex™ D boosters have a high density and high velocity of detonation (VOD) to maximise performance.
Pentex™ D was purposely designed for Hypercharge™ Drive applications with the unique capability being that the booster is supplied with applicators that join the priming bulk emulsion loading processes to provide optimum results combined with safety and ease of use in mind.
